In the words of Timbaland "It's been a long time We shouldn't have left you without a dope beat to step to step to, step to, step to step to, step to freaky-freaky, baby girl uh" so I'll be posting some more stuff soonish and maybe re-uploading the stuff people asked for (Robyn and Lindsey Buckingham right? Anything else?). What happened was that I didn't have enough rapidshare points to keep a free account going (And God bless you all but the number of times that Malcolm Middleton album got downloaded wasn't going to get me the 10,000 points per month I needed to keep my account open) so I went away and posted a lot (I mean A LOT) of pornography to earn me some more points and I got a bit carried away and now I have enough points for the next four and a half years. Oh and I also bought a new ipod which has taken a lot of filling (Not that it's full yet) so I've got even more music to share. Now - music time! Looks like they sexed the cover up a bit. I don't remember it looking like that when it was released. I do remember her winning a grammy (Or something) for this album as Best New Artist. She strolled up to the stage in a dress that your average hooker might have rejected as too slutty, took the award and moaned on about "Best new artist? I've been going for 10 years. This is my sixth album".

Never the coolest of bands. They had the misfortune of turning up just as the whole trip-hop thing was starting to fade and they got lumped in as slow-witted, bandwagon-jumpers. Regardless of all that this is a great album, the single Gorecki being a highlight for me. Just unfortunate they had a front woman who would warble 'la la la, everything is beautiful' type lyrics in the manner of a tortured blues singer, and the pretentious video's and the tendency to get the bloke who did the music to take his shirt off a lot didn't help their credibility. They were pretty good live too if I remember right.
