Never the coolest of bands. They had the misfortune of turning up just as the whole trip-hop thing was starting to fade and they got lumped in as slow-witted, bandwagon-jumpers. Regardless of all that this is a great album, the single Gorecki being a highlight for me. Just unfortunate they had a front woman who would warble 'la la la, everything is beautiful' type lyrics in the manner of a tortured blues singer, and the pretentious video's and the tendency to get the bloke who did the music to take his shirt off a lot didn't help their credibility. They were pretty good live too if I remember right.
